Kim Davis, RP, CKP, is a litigation paralegal at Hicks and Funfsinn, PLLC. She has been a paralegal since 1997 after graduating from Eastern Kentucky University with her associate degree in paralegal studies in 1996. She returned to EKU and obtained her bachelor’s degree in paralegal science in 2006. Kim has worked in personal injury, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence on the plaintiff side for over 18 years. She has also practiced in general business litigation and bankruptcy law on behalf of debtors and creditors. She took a nine-year break from the law firm environment and worked for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee as a case manager before returning to plaintiff work in 2018. Kim is married with one adult daughter and is the mama to two yorkie boys, a tiny yorkie girl and a 13-year-old Akita. She loves to travel and do anything outdoors including hiking, camping and boating. Kim is an active member of Northeast Christian Church in Lexington and lives in her hometown of Winchester, KY.
